This Privacy and Cookie Policy explains how H3D_ARTS
LTDA, CNPJ 63.704.322/0001-31, trading as
H3D_Arts (“we,” “us,” or “our”),
processes personal data in connection with alaskamod.com,
customer accounts, orders, downloads, support, security, and related
communications.
H3D_Arts is established in Pato Branco, Paraná, Brazil. Privacy
requests may be sent to contact@h3darts.com.
1. Data we may collect
Depending on how a person uses the Website, we may process:
- Account data: name, username, email address, password hash, account status, and account preferences;
- Order data: products, price, currency, country, billing details, order identifiers, payment status, refunds, disputes, and download entitlement;
- Payment-related data: provider references, payment method category, and transaction status. Complete card numbers are collected directly by payment providers and are not stored by H3D_Arts;
- Technical and security data: IP address, browser, device type, operating system, timestamps, login attempts, server and security logs, cookie identifiers, and fraud indicators;
- Download and license data: download events, Product version, account entitlement, and information reasonably necessary to prevent unauthorized access or distribution;
- Support and form data: messages, attachments, game logs, screenshots, Discord or email communications, and other information submitted for assistance;
- Checkout-recovery data: email address, cart contents, and checkout status when a customer begins but does not complete a purchase;
- Analytics and advertising data: Website interactions, referral source, campaign information, conversions, and cookie or advertising identifiers where enabled;
- Communication preferences: newsletter subscription, consent records, unsubscribe status, and Product-update preferences.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for a specific support request.
2. Why we process data
We process personal data to:
- create and secure customer accounts;
- process, verify, deliver, and support purchases;
- provide downloads, license access, updates, and transactional notices;
- prevent fraud, chargebacks, account compromise, and unauthorized distribution;
- investigate technical issues and respond to requests;
- maintain the Website, measure performance, and understand conversions;
- recover an abandoned checkout where this feature is enabled and legally permitted;
- send promotional email only where the recipient has validly opted in or another lawful basis applies, with an unsubscribe option;
- comply with tax, accounting, consumer, payment, legal, and regulatory obligations;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
3. Legal bases
Depending on the context and applicable law, processing may be based on performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention, consent, or the establishment and defense of legal rights.
Where consent is required, it may be withdrawn at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
4. Payments and Merchant of Record
Payment and billing data may be processed directly by providers made available at checkout, including Stripe, FastSpring, and payment methods supported by those providers.
When FastSpring processes an order as Merchant of Record, FastSpring is the reseller that invoices and collects payment from the purchaser and processes data under its own privacy notice and purchaser terms. FastSpring shares relevant order and customer information with H3D_Arts so that the Product can be delivered and supported.
H3D_Arts does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
5. Service providers
We use providers that help operate the Website and store, transmit, or otherwise process limited personal data on our behalf or for their own legally defined purposes. These may include:
- WordPress, WooCommerce, Automattic, Jetpack, Akismet, and related Website services;
- Stripe and FastSpring for payment and transaction processing;
- hosting, content-delivery, security, backup, and maintenance providers;
- email-delivery, email-logging, newsletter, and abandoned-checkout tools;
- Google Analytics, Google Ads, Conversios, or similar analytics and conversion services where configured;
- form, customer-support, and Discord communication services;
- professional advisers, accountants, banks, fraud-prevention providers, and authorities where necessary.
Providers receive only the information reasonably necessary for their role, subject to contractual, technical, or legal safeguards as applicable.
6. Transactional and promotional email
Transactional messages may include receipts, payment status, account security, password reset, delivery, support, and important Product compatibility or update notices. These messages are necessary to operate the account or fulfill the purchase and are not treated as general promotional subscriptions.
Promotional newsletters are separate. Where consent is required, promotional email will be sent only after an affirmative opt-in. Promotional messages will include an unsubscribe method. Unsubscribing from promotions does not stop essential transactional or security messages.
7. Abandoned checkout messages
If abandoned-checkout recovery is enabled, the Website may retain an email address and cart details entered during checkout and send a limited reminder. Where consent or another condition is legally required, reminders will be configured accordingly. A recipient may opt out of further recovery or promotional messages.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
The Website may use:
- necessary cookies for accounts, carts, checkout, fraud prevention, security, and Website functionality;
- preference cookies to remember settings;
- analytics cookies to measure Website performance and customer journeys;
- advertising or conversion cookies to measure campaigns where those services are enabled.
Where required by applicable law, non-essential analytics or advertising cookies will be used only after consent. Browser controls and any available cookie settings may also be used to reject or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent account or checkout functions from working.
9. International transfers
Because the Website, payment providers, analytics, email, hosting, and support services may operate internationally, personal data may be processed outside the customer’s state or country. We use the safeguards required by applicable law for such transfers where applicable.
10. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing accounts and downloads, maintaining transaction and tax records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, enforcing licenses, and complying with legal obligations.
Retention periods vary by data category. Some transaction records must be retained after an account is closed. Data that is no longer required will be deleted, anonymized, or securely isolated, subject to technical and legal limitations.
11. Data rights
Subject to applicable law, a person may request:
- confirmation that personal data is processed;
- access to or correction of personal data;
- information about sharing and processing;
- deletion, anonymization, or restriction where applicable;
- withdrawal of consent;
- objection to certain processing;
- portability where applicable;
- review of a decision based solely on automated processing where a legal right applies.
Requests may be sent to contact@h3darts.com. We may
request reasonable verification before disclosing or changing account
data. Certain information may be retained where required for taxes,
accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, security, or other legal
obligations.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal data. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Customers should use unique passwords, keep credentials confidential, and promptly report suspected account compromise.
13. Children
The Website and Product are not directed to children who cannot legally enter into the purchase or license agreement. A minor may use the Website only with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian where required.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Website, providers, Product, security practices, or law. The current effective date will be displayed at the top of the page. Material changes will be communicated where required.
